Along with great beaches, a slew of monuments and a fabulous Carnaval celebration, another of Cadiz's top attraction is its friendly, laid-back and fun-loving people. Called "Gaditanos", they're happy to chat and always up for having a good time, so no matter where you're coming from you're sure to meet people fast and feel right at home!

The nature of the locals is reflected in the city's happening nightlife, a fun scene where locals and visitors alike have a blast in the city's eclectic collection of bars and clubs. To really see Gaditanos in their element, come to Cadiz during Carnaval, when the locals let loose, dress up in crazy costumes, sing satirical songs, laugh it up with friends and strangers, and party 'til dawn!
